Literature map

This Friday’s web site review is a bit different. I subscribe to the World Almanac’s monthly e-newsletter and find it full of useful information. At the end of each issue, Edward A. Thomas, Editor in Chief, presents his “Links of the month.” This month he mentioned Literature Map, “

The literature map is part of gnooks, which is the books part of gnod, an artificial intelligence project designed by Marek Gibney out of Germany. There are also sections on music and movies, each with their own mapping program. I don’t know how the program works, so I can’t vouch for its accuracy, but it’s very simple to use and fun to experiment with.
